When mom ask's in e-mail with the subject, "Where in the world is Alison?", it's time to update the blog.... uhhh, not that i communicate entirely to my parents via blog, i really don't. I insist!
The answer is, i am in ... Italia (!). Semi-recently i got back from LA, California after training with the National team for a pre-Olympic training camp. It's very cool to see the planning and the resources being made available to Canadian athletes, which of course i am grateful to be included. It was a great 6 days of training with fellow Canadians, working with the coaches, sports psych, sprinter extraordinaire, media guy and just being in the US of A. I really do heart America, everything is just so available, well probably too available for my ADD mind. More picture are to come, here's my only photo with us and Gord (don't ask me what kind of outfit he's got on)
Pisa to Los Angeles isn't exactly a hop, skip, and jump away, I was pretty tired from all the travel and it's taken me a little to get my body set back on Euro time. With getting sick, i had to pull the plug on 'that newspaper race' (as my dad called it) or Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. More pictures to come.
